2023 Sept. 15. Colombian-born artist Fernando Botero has died at age 91 in Monaco. I liked his work at first sight. He quickly became known for his oversize sculptures of rotund figures like this lady at Grand Wailea resort in Maui at the Botero Bar. Political correctness apparently hasn't carried as much weight as his sculptures.
