Back from 5 weeks off-grid while discovering Portugal.
Breakfast at Lisbon's Pastéis de Belém is one of those 'Must Do' triplist items. The pastry factory / restaurant is famous for its custard tarts, still reputedly hand-made with an ancient recipe from the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos across the street, where you may or may not wish to join the 2 1/2-hour entry queue. On a plate and a prayer I stayed with the pastries at Belém. #visitportugal
