I met this university student atop a watch tower at one end of the much-loved Charles Bridge (Karlův most) in Prague. He was bugling the end of the day from the ramparts.
For techno nerds: I had accidentally switched my Olympus camera from RAW to a special effects setting. Although I've occasionally used these to kick start my imagination, the images are lo res jpeg files. For higher quality I shoot Olympus Raw Files (ORF). Despite the lo res, this image is surprisingly sharp. I processed the original contrasty colour jpeg file in a DXO black & white preset to achieve a different look going
back in time, though not quite medieval.
